Toby came to live with us in 2006 when he was 9 months old he was a rescue dog and for the first few months in his life he was ill treated when he came to live with me mum and dad we gave him so much love and he gave us so much love happiness and enjoyment he was a very special dog but sadly in 2013 my dad passed away and he missed him but looked after both me and mum my dad walked him every day twice a day and i walk him once day but then in 2017 sadly my mum passed away just leaving me Toby was a great support  and my strength to carry on if it hadnt been for Toby i would not have been how to cope he was the one that got me out of bed every day he wake me up every day come and jump on me and when i opened my eyes there would be Toby standing there wagging his tail waiting to go out for his walk  Toby knew all my moods if i was happy or sad and when i was stressed i used to take Toby for a walk and he make me feel so much better and not stressed any more Toby had two favourite toys that he would play with out of all his toys he bring it to us and put it on the floor and we would throw it and say to Toby catch and he did me and Toby went out in all kind of weather apart from the rain he hated the rain if he got one little drop on his head he be back in the door but he loved the snow he play in it and get it all over his nose Toby laid by my side every night on the sofa always by my side looking after me he had four different barks one for going out one for something to eat one to play and his warning bark he was a good house do but on the 10th November 2018 in the early hours or Saturday morning Toby got up on the sofa and laid by my side with his head on my lap and he looked up at me with them lovely big brown eyes much to say thank you for the happy 12 years  that i  lived with you all and good bye it was so heart breaking when you passed away and part of me went with you i didnt just lose my dog but i lost a big part of my life and my best friend but i never forget you i just before you passed away i told you that i love you and miss you you are a very special dog and you havent left me you still watching over me and your with me in my heart i love and miss you so much you a brave loving and caring dog love you Toby
